The differences between the two consoles are as expected. Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox Series X looks a bit sharper and runs a bit smoother compared to its previous-gen counterpart, but the gap between the two appears relatively minimal.

A heftier next-gen update for CB2077 is planned for sometime in 2021.

As for the gameplay itself, the latest Night City Wire episode centered on a braindance mission where the subject seems to have met a less than pleasant end.

CDPR naturally avoided anything too spoiler-y, and the exposition is a bit choppy as a result. But the gist is that Johnny SIlverhand (Keanu Reeves) works with V to find out what happened in an investigation spanning one of Night City’s red light districts and sex emporiums. And of course, there will be blood and cars — any car V can get their hands on.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases December 10 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Stay tuned for more.
